Modern online radicalization rarely begins with somebody standing on a street corner yelling slogans. More often, it starts with:

memes,
"ironic" jokes,
conspiracy videos,
masculinity influencers,
edgy humor,

anonymous forums,
and people who suddenly start describing themselves as "red-pilled."

A lot of extremist internet culture hides behind layers of irony, sarcasm, and plausible deniability. Some terms are openly extremist. Others started as harmless meme slang before being absorbed into conspiracy culture, the manosphere, or outright neo-Nazi communities.

This directory explains some of the more common words, phrases, abbreviations, symbols, and numerical codes found in those spaces — including how they are actually used online.

Important: Not every person using these terms is an extremist. Context matters. Internet culture is messy, ironic, and constantly evolving. However, understanding the language can help people recognize when somebody may be drifting deeper into online radicalization pipelines.
